                14 AHS Teachers Awarded “Provincial Quality Lesson” in 2018 Shandong Provincial “One Teacher One Lesson” Contest

                  On September 27, Shandong Provincial Education Department publicized the list of prize winners in 2018 Shandong Provincial “One Teacher One Lesson” contest. 14 teachers of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) were awarded the prize of “Provincial Quality Lesson” after going through the lesson display, the lesson selection in Jinan, the provincial evaluation and other stages.
                  The 14 prizes covered all subjects of AHS and have well displayed AHS teachers’ high-level teaching ability as well as the wisdom of collective research. Before the contest the involved teaching and research groups made deep interpretation of the new curriculum standards, focused on the subject core qualities, and undertook the work of lesson preparations, optimization and lesson filming through teamwork. Those prize winners included not only teachers recognized as “Shandong Provincial Teaching Expert”, “Jinan Teaching Expert” and “Undergraduate Facilitator” but also fresh teachers with only 2-year teaching experience.
                  Based on their delicate designs and, more importantly, their sound teaching skills and profound cultural accumulation as well as subject knowledge, AHS teachers presented the best optimized lessons and well displayed their talents.
                  In recent years AHS has been exploring measures and approaches to “cultivate teachers with qualities of educational experts”, actively carrying out the projects to train teachers in accordance with differentiated growth stages and forge well-known expert teachers, building teachers’ professional development system with its special characteristics and achieving great outcome in teachers’ professional development.
