                AHS Students Made Outstanding Achievements in the 16th “Ye Shengtao Cup” National Middle School New Composition Contest

                On July 28, 16 students of High School Attached to Shandong Normal University (AHS) under the leadership of Zhang Yanhui and Han Cuiwen attended the 16th “Ye Shengtao  Cup” National Middle School New Composition Contest held in Beijing and made outstanding achievements.

                 

                After going through tense competitions, all 16 students won prizes, with Yang Yinhan, Zhao Jingyi, Xie Congshan, Zhang Yilin and Wang Zhuoran obtaining 1st Prize, Tian Jiaxuan, Li Zhen, Hao Yunhan, Liu Silu, Wang SIying, Jia Wentong and Zhao Yin honored with 2nd Prize and Li Dongwei, Zhu Manqi, Shang Chenqian and Li Yaru granted 3rd Prize. AHS was acknowledged as “Advanced Unit for Writing Teaching” for its advanced educational philosophy and outstanding achievements in contests of all levels.

                 

                The contest, sponsored by China Children’s Press and Publication Group and Chinese Association of Contemporary Literature, was hosted by High School Students and Campus Literature Committee of Chinese Association of Contemporary Literature in combination with Faculty of Literature & Law of Communication University of China. Since its foundation 16 years ago the contest has always been adhering to the philosophy of “being life-oriented, personalized and diversified” and encouraging students to observe and respect life, highlight their personality and attach importance to thinking from multiple perspectives, which have provided professional platform for literature lovers to make their demonstration and communication. The organizing committee stuck to normative procedures and a precise evaluation system to ensure its authority and credibility, which, therefore, has won deep trust among teachers and students as well as the wide-spread concern from universities qualified for independent recruitment.

                 

                AHS has always been attaching great importance to nurturing students’ ability of observing, experiencing and expressing life, and encouraging students to write out their specific life experience and feelings. Thus students have displayed continuously  upgraded writing competence and obtained outstanding achievements in writing contests of various levels.
